The Fédération Ivoirienne du Scoutisme, the national federation of several Scouting organizations of the Côte d'Ivoire, was founded in 1937, and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1972. The coeducational Fédération Ivoirienne du Scoutisme has 6,436 members as of 2004.
