There are nine Boy Scouts of America local councils in West Virginia. All of West Virginia lies within Central Region, except for Pendleton County, as part of Southern Region, and Grant, Mineral, Hardy, Hampshire, Morgan, Berkeley and Jefferson counties, as part of Northeast Region.

Girl Scouting in West Virginia

There are two Girl Scout council offices in West Virginia.

Girl Scouts in Monongalia and Preston counties are served by Girl Scouts - Trillium Council, which also serves Garrett County, Maryland and several counties in western Pennsylvania.
