Coat of Arms of Baron Baden-Powell

Baron Baden-Powell, of Gilwell in the County of Essex, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1929 for the military commander Lieutenant-General Robert Baden-Powell, hero of the Siege of Mafeking and founder of the international scouting movement. He had already been created a Baronet, of Gilwell in the County of Essex, in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 4 December 1922. As of 2023 the titles are held by his great-grandson, the fifth Baron, who succeeded his father in 2023.

The ribbon below the family crest bears the family's motto, "Ar Nyd Yw Pwyll Pyd Yw" (Where there's fortitude, there'll be a Powell).
