Kaweah Lodge 379
Kaweah Lodge 379, Order of the Arrow - Brotherhood of Cheerful Service
The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America for Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Scouters elected by their fellow Scouts according to OA membership requirements, and inducted into membership by an OA lodge. The OA has been providing cheerful service to others through youth and adult OA members (known as "Arrowmen") in various lodges and councils throughout the USA since July 1915.
Kaweah Lodge 379, Order of the Arrow, was chartered to the Alameda Council in February 1948, and has served local Scouting continuously over the past 68 years. Our lodge consists of over 80 youth and adult Arrowmen cheerfully serving Scouting and the Alameda community.
This district is part of The Alameda Council, headquartered in Alameda, California, and serves youth members and volunteer leaders through Scout units in the City of Alameda of California. It is a local council (#022) of the Boy Scouts of America. All youth are invited to join scouting.
