The Black Warrior Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America located in the state of Alabama. Council offices are located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and the council's name refers to Chief Tuscaloosa whose name means Black Warrior. They can be found online at https://www.bwc-bsa.org/

  • Camp Horne - 496-acre main council camp located in east Tuscaloosa County. Summer camp merit badge program.
  • Camp O'Rear - a 90-acre primitive-style facility located in Jasper, AL.
  • White Bluff Scout Reservation - primitive scout high adventure camp on the Black Warrior River near Demopolis AL.
