I was born in Sheffield, England, but now live in Melbourne, Australia. I have been interested in Scouting for 60 years, although I have not been a leader for nearly 40 years. My last warranted position was Assistant District Commissioner (Leader Training) in 1970 in Lancaster, England. I was earlier a Scout Leader and a Rover Scout Leader in UK. I was awarded both the Scout and the Rover Wood Badge. I am active on the English Wikipedia in the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Scouting Scout WikiProject] where I coordinate mediation if needed, in addition to writing articles. I plan to expand the entries on Australia by copying articles from wikipedia (all State articles and section articles done), and then move on to copy over all the County/Area articles for the UK.
