RISGO CENTENNIAL (Rajans International Scout Gathering Of Centennial ) 2013 (Sinhala: රිස්ගෝ - සියවස් සැමරුම් ජාත්යන්තර බාලදක්ෂ එකමුතුව), is an International Scout Jamboree to mark the Centenary Celebrations of 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group (Sinhala: පලවන මහනුවර ධර්මරාජ බාලදක්ෂ සමූහය) (1913 - 2013) of Dharmaraja College (Sinhala: ධර්මරාජ විද්යාලය), Kandy, Sri Lanka.[1][2]
Objective
Main objective of the RISGO CENTENNIAL 2013 is to mark the Centenary Celebrations of 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group (1913 - 2013). Also its marks the 125th Annivesary of the Dharmaraja College (1887 - 2013)
Activities
Hiking, Water Activities, Sight-seeing, Forest expedition, Adventure activities, Leadership building activities, Camp fires, Cultural presentations[3][4]
Participation
RISGO will be open to all members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). This include Cub-Scouts, Scouts, Rovers, Girl Scouts, Girl Guides, Leaders and Old Scouts from all around the world.[5][6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
Global RISGO
Global RISGO is the global youth forum to be held during RISGO Centennial 2013. Youth from all over the globe will camp together. It will include a Scout each from all the scouting districts in Sri Lanka, a Scout each from all the scouting countries of Asia Pacific Scout Region(APR), and at least aone scout from each other scout region
Organizing Team
"Risgo Centennial 2013" is organized as a joint venture by 1st Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group & Old Rajans Scouts Association. the Chief Scout is the Hon. Mahinda Rajapaksa, (President of Sri Lanka). [11]
