Camp Makualla is the principal Boy Scout summer camp facility for Crater Lake Council. Located on the southern shore of Crescent Lake along the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains in the Deschutes National Forest in Oregon.
Camp Amenities
- New in 2018: 5 new laser sailboats, 2 new motor boats and a new dock!
- Approximately 55 miles from Crater Lake National Park
- Camp is approximately 4,500 feet elevation with scenery of ponderosa pines
- Beautiful waterfront provides swimming and all lake activities
- Rifle range, Shotgun Range & Archery Range
- Many Hiking & Mountain Biking Trails
- Excellent Fishing (kokanee salmon, lake trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and mountain whitefish

- Multiple Cabins available for rent with different amenities
- Fred Hanson Memorial Dining Hall available for rent
CLC Council
This lodge is chartered by Crater Lake Council, providing scouting for much of Southern Oregon and Northern California. It is a local council (#491) of the Boy Scouts of America. All youth are invited to join scouting.
