Hi Bryce,

I saw that you (almost) literally copied a large part of the articles that you edited from the websites of the organizations. Do you have permission from the copyright holders? If so, can you demonstrate this in any way? If not, do you want to rewrite the articles without copyright violations? This is a warning, you can be blocked for another copyright infringement.

I'll see what I can do. I did not want to post any incorrect information. I thought the original organization would be the best sources for the most accurate updates. MainTour (talk) 14:12, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

Removed contributions.

I understand that you are very enthusiastic about your own Scouting organization, as you ought to be. But the BSA is not the only Scouting organization in the USA and all Scouting organizations are equal for ScoutWiki (A scout is a friend to all and a brother to every other Scout.). All articles on the ScoutWikis should be written from a neutral (Scouting) point of view. So unfortunately I had to delete some of your contributions. --Egel (talk) 18:12, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

The article Benefits of Scouting - was just such "Neutral" article, friendly to all branches of Scouting. It should be restored (A scout is Kind). MainTour (talk) 19:25, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

Welcome to ScoutWiki!

Hi MainTour!

Welcome to the English language ScoutWiki, a part of the international ScoutWiki Network! You can add anything there is to know about and in scouting: history, groups, cool games, great campsites, international events everyone should attend once in their lifetime, tips and tricks for scout leaders, etcetera etcetera. To assist you in contributing to this wiki, here are a few directions:

  • Basic information for starters can be found on the help page
  • More information for contributors you can find in the community portal
  • Do you experience difficulties? Ask your question to me on my talk page, or to the community on the Camp Fire.
  • Do you like to contribute, but you don't know about what? Be inspired!

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Can we count on you?

unlicensed images

You upload large amounts of images, without indicating under which license use is allowed. Moreover, you state that you are the author of those images, while you most likely are not. I am a bit concerned about that, because the ScoutWikis could get into big trouble. Do you have an idea how we can best solve this?
