This template is normally used for pages that are semi-protected for longer periods of time, and in particular for BLPs (e.g. George W. Bush).

This template categorizes pages into Category:Semi-protected. For talk pages that are semi-protected, use Template:SprotectedTalk.

Adding this template to an article does not protect it. Protection can only be applied by administrators, and can be requested at Scoutwiki:Requests for page protection.
