A quiet circle game.

Situation

The group sits cross-legged in a circle, while holding hands. One of them will start as caller, making the phonecall. Another one will stand in the middle as observer, startposition with back to the caller.

Objective

For the group: to get the signal succesfully from caller to receiver. The signal is given through by squeezing the next persons hand. For the observer: to detect the signal. As soon as the observer spots the signal, he should point it out. Honesty is expected when he's correct!

Start

The caller says "I call onto ...NAME... and the signal has... left" As soon as the caller says "left", the observer can turn around and try to detect where te signal is.

Signaling

Each person can decide when to pass on the signal to the next person in the group. Caution in movements to not confuse your neighbours, while try to stay undetected by the observer

Change

When the signal arrives at the receiver, the receiver yells "Arrived!!!", and the receiver becomes now the caller. Only when the observer succesfully observes the signal, he/she will change position with the person who made the mistake of being detected.

Extra-edition

Telephone exchange

You can appoint one or more people in the circle to be telephone exchange or switchboard. A switchboard sits in different position: they have their arms crossed. When the signal passes these people, they should make a ringing sound (you can choose other sounds). Also they can choose freely to send the signal in the opposite/same direction as they got it.

Ero-phone

Depending on the sense of humor in your group, you can try this alteration: instead of transfering the signal by squeezing hands, you could caress the others thigh. Let the telephone exchange produce a loud "erotic" sound, and come up with some bad-mouthed alternatives for "I call onto...", "it has... left", "Arrived!"

Laughing guaranteed!
