Scouting and Guiding in Ireland, owing much to the legacy of Baden Powell, has a long and deep history back to 1908. The Scout and Guide movement in Ireland is served by
- the Council of Irish Guiding Associations, member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, a federation consisting of:
- Scouting Ireland, member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement
- Baden-Powell Scouts' Association of Ireland, member of the World Federation of Independent Scouts
Catholic Guides of Ireland and Scouting Ireland are both also active in Northern Ireland.
