Camp Fire/Meeting

This is one of the Camp Fire pages. We use them to discuss the technical issues, policies, and operations of Scout Wiki. The Camp Fire is divided into sections covering these different aspects, but if you can't decide which to use, try The Tent. Please sign and date your posts (by typing ~~~~ at the end).

Remove BAN on Scout Blogs

ScoutWiki is the only Wiki forum that I know of that prohibits links to "Blogs". A classic example is that you cannot link to BSA's all important "Bryan On Scouting", their official website for the latest news releases and approved scouting ideas. All because they have "blog" in their URL.

Many other scout leaders use "Blogs" to share their great scouting ideas. The polite and professional scouting thing to do is to let us link directly to the authoritative reference source. MainTour (talk) 17:33, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the feedback, I'll check why it's banned and where the ban is defined. In future please send any support requests that concern directly the software or configuration or similar issues to support@scoutwiki.org, this discussion area isn't apparently regularly monitored. --ZeiP (talk) 21:16, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
This has now been fixed. --ZeiP (talk) 21:37, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
