Savvy Shopper is a financial literacy badge for Junior Girl Scouts. Other Girl Scout badges in the Financial Literacy II category include: Philanthropist for Brownie Girl Scouts, Comparison Shopping for Cadette Girl Scouts, Buying Power for Senior Girl Scouts and Good Credit for Ambassador Girl Scouts. The purpose of this badge is to learn the difference between what one needs and what one wants and to be able to smartly save money for both.
