Western Sahara, home to the Sahraoui Scout Association (Arabic: اتحاد الكشافة الصحراوي‎) is one of 35 countries where Scouting exists (be it embryonic or widespread) but where there is no National Scout Organization which is yet a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Scouting is being developed in Western Sahara with the assistance of File:Canaryislands.jpg Scouts from the Canary Islands.

The Scout Motto is Kun Musta'idan or كن مستعدين, translating as "Be Prepared" in Arabic. The noun for a single Scout is Kashaf or كشاف in Arabic.
