This page allows you to upload files (such as images and audio files) on the ScoutMedia web server, in order to include them in the articles of the different ScoutWikies.

In order to help ScoutWiki to work, you're requested to copy only files you're allowed to do so. Please read Wikimedia Commons' page about licensing.

To view or search previously uploaded images go to the list of uploaded files, uploads and deletions are also logged in the upload log.

How to use the files ? To use an image in a page page, do as follow : [[Image:file.jpg]] for a single image, [[Image:file.png|thumb|250px|legend]] for an image in a 250px width frame with a legend. To use an audio file, do as follow : [[Media:file.ogg]] to simply create a link to the file, <mp3>file.mp3</mp3> to include an .mp3 player on the page. Please, copy only files you want to use!

Describe your files! Description of your files is compulsory. The law requests the author of the file to be mentionned, as well as its origin and the license allowing its diffusion. Mention of : the Description is only wished ; the Source is compulsory, that's the origin of the file : name of a book, url of a website, own work... the Author is compulsory. If it's your own work, you may sign using ~~~ the License is compulsory ; see Wikimedia Commons' page about licensing

	BE CAREFUL OF THE COPYRIGHT! Every uploaded file has to be licensed. By clicking on the Upload file button, you certify on your honor that this file is from yourself, or that you copied it from the public domain, or from a free resource. DO NOT UPLOAD COPYRIGHTED FILES WITHOUT PERMISSION!
All the files uploaded on ScoutMedia's web server have to be licensed under a free license. (See ScoutWiki:Copyright for more details). Those files may be modified and displayed without your agreement. If you do not accept it, do not upload them.

If the file you want to upload may be used on several ScoutWikies and released under a free license, please upload it on and not here.

It will be possible to use it on exactly the same way as if it was uploaded to ScoutWiki's web server, but also on other wikies of ScoutWiki Network.
