As the twelfth point of the Boy Scout Law ("A Scout is Reverent"), the Relationships Committee of the [[Boy Scouts of America]] maintains dialogue with major religious organizations whose thoughts on religion are somewhat consistent with the BSA's Declaration of Religious Principles.  In addition to those organizations serving as chartered partners of the BSA, many of them offer optional [[Religious Emblems Programs|religious awards]] that may be earned by a youth who learns significantly about his faith or an adult that serves youth of his or her religious faith over and above the call of normal activities.
