Junior First Aid is a legacy badge for Junior Girl Scouts. Other Girl Scout badges in the First Aid category include: Brownie First Aid for Brownie Girl Scouts, Cadette First Aid for Cadette Girl Scouts, Senior First Aid for Senior Girl Scouts and Ambassador First Aid for Ambassador Girl Scouts. The purpose of the is badge is to know how to help people who are sick or hurt.


Requirements

  2. Talk to first responders
    • Talk to an EMT or firefighter OR
    • Talk to police officers OR
    • Tour an emergency room or hospital
  3. Make a portable first aid kit

    • Make a personal kit
  4. Find out how to handle urgent first aid issues
    • With your Junior friends, organize a panel discussion OR
    • Research situations that require fast action OR
    • Go on a field trip to an emergency room
  5. Know how to take care of someone who's sick
    • Read about illnesses and how to treat them OR
