Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) takes place annually every third weekend on October, alongside Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI). In JOTA Scouts and Guides around the world communicate with each other using radio amateur contacts. First JOTA was arranged in 1958.

JOTA-JOTI is the largest Scouting event in the world with nearly one million Scouts participating across 160+ countries the third weekend of October.

The JOTA radio stations are operated by licensed amateur radio operators. Operators help and advice scouts and guides of all ages to use the equipment and communication protocols.
