This document describes the process of importing articles from Wikipedia to ScoutWiki. Please adhere to the process or question the correctness of it.

Wikipedia is a good source also for scouting-related articles. Sometimes it's useful to import these to ScoutWiki instead of linking to Wikipedia. This can be done because both Wikipedia and ScoutWiki use the GNU Free Documentation License, ”GFDL”. However, in order to comply with the license terms and thus not be in a direct violation of the license, the authors of the article must be given appropriate credit.

The easiest way to do this is to add {{From Wikipedia}} to EITHER the article's talk page, OR the bottom of the article.

More information about the conditions of material re-usage is available at Wikipedia.
