The Group is always well represented at National Jamborees, Ventures and Regattas, and at most regional and Coastal Zone events. The unique location of Ngati Toa Group provides the opportunity to progressively expose youth members to water based activities in the calm of the marina, the protected waters of the Porirua Harbour and Pauatahanui Inlet, or the more challenging Plimmerton Bay.
