Little Snoring was established by Central Norfolk District of the Scout Association in 2007, the centenary year of Scouting. Due to problems finding enough adult support, the Group initially operated as part of Fakenham Wensum Scout Group. By early 2008 the Group was operating on its own, with leadership being provided by a mix of volunteer leaders and Scout Association staff. In 2009 the Group was technically merged with Fakenham Wensum and 1st Sculthorpe, although it continued to meet in Little Snoring until closed by the District in 2011.
