Girl Scout Troop 10041 formed when Taylor Lihs's mother, Jeannie Lihs, agreed to lead her daughter and her friends, who were all 2nd graders. Some of the girls had been Daisy Scouts in Troop 10016 and some had not. As brownies, the girls sold cookies and went camping and made crafts. They always participated in the spring camp hosted by Service Unit 18 (serving Columbia County, Oregon). As Junior Girl Scouts, the new adventure included horses. The girls visited Once Upon a Horse to learn something about taking care of horses, and they went to horse camp for a weekend of riding. In October 2014, Dana Johnson became the new troop leader. The girls will bridge to cadets in the spring of 2014. | Girl Scout Troop 10041 formed when Taylor Lihs's mother, Jeannie Lihs, agreed to lead her daughter and her friends, who were all 2nd graders.
