Customer Insights is a cookie business badge for Junior Girl Scouts. Other Girl Scout badges in the Cookie Business II category include: Give Back for Brownie Girl Scouts, Marketing for Cadette Girl Scouts, Customer Loyalty for Senior Girl Scouts and P & L for Ambassador Girl Scouts. The purpose of the is badge is to have a better understanding of my cookie customers.
Requirements
- Ask an expert what customers want
- Talk to a female business owner about how she finds out what her customers want
- Do some research at the grocery store
- Walk through the aisles with your family or Junior friends
- Find out who buys cookies and why
- Many companies, including the bakers who wake Girl Scout Cookies, use insights about their customers to figure out what cookies to sell and how to market them
- Learn from people who don't buy
- Hearing people say, "No, thanks" is a part of selling any product
- Listen for clues and ask great questions
- Customers often tie you clues about what they want then you talk to them.
