Customer Insights is a cookie business badge for Junior Girl Scouts. Other Girl Scout badges in the Cookie Business II category include: Give Back for Brownie Girl Scouts, Marketing for Cadette Girl Scouts, Customer Loyalty for Senior Girl Scouts and P & L for Ambassador Girl Scouts. The purpose of the is badge is to have a better understanding of my cookie customers.


Requirements

  1. Ask an expert what customers want
    • Talk to a female business owner about how she finds out what her customers want
  2. Do some research at the grocery store
    • Walk through the aisles with your family or Junior friends
  3. Find out who buys cookies and why
    • Many companies, including the bakers who wake Girl Scout Cookies, use insights about their customers to figure out what cookies to sell and how to market them
  4. Learn from people who don't buy
    • Hearing people say, "No, thanks" is a part of selling any product
  5. Listen for clues and ask great questions
    • Customers often tie you clues about what they want then you talk to them.
