In November 2023, Camp Pico Blanco was purchased by White Stag Leadership Development Academy, Inc. (White Stag Monterey) The White Stag Program was established at the camp in 1958 and was hosted by Explorer Post 122 in Monterey. The White Stag Monterey Program summer leadership camps are currently hosted by Venturing Crew 122 in the Santa Lucia District. After sitting unused for 7 years, volunteers are bringing the camp back into usable condition. On March 15, 2024, the first two units after the fire spent weekend camping out, Troop 599 and Pack 515. SVMBC Council
Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council (SVMBC) (local council #055) of the Boy Scouts of America operates this scouting district. It serves the four California counties of Santa Clara County, Santa Cruz County, San Benito County, Monterey County.
