The Blackhawk Area Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America located in the state of Illinois and Wisconsin. Headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, they can also be found online at http://www.blackhawkscouting.org/
Council History
The Council was formed by the merging of the U.S. Grant Council in the west and Blackhawk Council in the east portion of what is now the Blackhawk Area Council.
