Arrowhead District, a district of the Greater Alabama Council serves Boy Scouts in Morgan, Limestone, and Lawrence counties, and covers all of the Decatur Metropolitan Area. Formed in 2003, when the districts of Arrowhead and the Limestone merged to form one Arrowhead District. The first joint activity was a Spring Camporee hosted by Troop 211 at Point Mallard Park in Decatur, Alabama.


District Roundtable

District Roundtable meets on the 2nd Thursday each month at ___. Roundtable provides supplemental training for volunteers at the unit level. The objectives of roundtables are to provide leaders with program ideas, information on policy and events, training opportunities, and an enhanced network of contacts and other resources while also providing unit leaders with a voice in formulating direction at the district level.

Cub Scout Packs

Cub Scouts holds weekly activities for youth ages 6-10. Contact either the unit or it's sponsor to get more information back in 72 hours. Arrowhead District Day Camps are offered at Point Mallard Park in Decatur, Alabama and at Sportsman Lake Park in Cullman, Alabama.

  • Pack 68 - St. Andrew Presbyterian Church - Decatur AL - Members of Pack 68 come from West Morgan Elementary School, Chestnut Grove Elementary School, Julian Harris Elementary School, Master's Hand Christian School, and the surrounding areas. The pack is active year round doing camping, hiking, fishing, local parades, and community service projects.

This district is part of The Greater Alabama Council, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and serves youth members and volunteer leaders through Scout units in Central Alabama. It is a local council (#001) of the Boy Scouts of America, created in the 1990s through the merger of several smaller councils.
