Arrowhead District, a district of the Greater Alabama Council serves Boy Scouts in Morgan, Limestone, and Lawrence counties, and covers all of the Decatur Metropolitan Area. Formed in 2003, when the districts of Arrowhead and the Limestone merged to form one Arrowhead District. The first joint activity was a Spring Camporee hosted by Troop 211 at Point Mallard Park in Decatur, Alabama.
District Roundtable
District Roundtable meets on the 2nd Thursday each month at ___. Roundtable provides supplemental training for volunteers at the unit level. The objectives of roundtables are to provide leaders with program ideas, information on policy and events, training opportunities, and an enhanced network of contacts and other resources while also providing unit leaders with a voice in formulating direction at the district level.

- Camp Sequoyah - (Greater Alabama Council) - a 1,447 acres traditional camp in east central Alabama, near Cheaha State Park. Part of Frank Spain Scout Reservation and home of the Sequoyah Sidewinder.
- Camp Jack Wright - Primitive Camp: Located adjacent to Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park with more than 1,500 acres in three counties set aside for hiking, camping and outdoor recreation.
- Camp Comer - main attractions include the cool summer temperature, beautiful Lake Republic, rocks, and a mountain atmosphere.
- Camp Jackson - a 515-acre primitive camp located 5 miles east of Scottsboro on the Tennessee River at Jones Cove.

GAC Council
This district is part of The Greater Alabama Council, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and serves youth members and volunteer leaders through Scout units in Central Alabama. It is a local council (#001) of the Boy Scouts of America, created in the 1990s through the merger of several smaller councils.
