Anniston History Museums is a collection of several of the best museums in the state of Alabama.
The Berman Museum
Berman Museum - Ancient Treasures from Around the World Gun exhibits from the American West, World Wars, and earlier conflicts. Famous Swords of Napoleon Bonaparte and Jefferson Davis. Medieval arms and armor and other military antiquities.
Oil paintings, intricate jade sculptures, expressive Remington bronzes, ancient and modern weapons, photos, clothing, hands-on displays and lifelike dioramas fill the galleries, bringing history to life through the eyes of artists and craftsmen.
Anniston Museum of Natural History
This museum in Lagarde Park, Anniston, Alabama, exhibiting more than 2,000 natural history items on permanent display, including minerals, fossils, and rare animals in open dioramas. (Located adjacent to Berman Museum.)
U.S. Army Chemical Corps Museum
Military displays cover the history of chemical weapons from early Biblical times to the modern era. Exhibits cover history from WWI, WWII, Vietnam and Desert Storm. Equipment featured flamethrowers, mortars, gas masks, and other surprises.
Military Police Corps Museum=
Uniforms, weapons and other equipment used by the Military Police Forces. The Military Police Corps traces its lineage and history back to the American Revolution.
Women's Army Corps Museum =
(WAC's) Located in the former Women's Army Corps School (1954-1978), this museum features equipment and weapons and historical displays of how women served in the armed forces.
