The Kingdom of the Netherlands consists of the four countries, The Netherlands (on mainland Europe), Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten (in the Caribbean). The country of the Netherlands has three more special municipalities in the Caribbean, Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius. the Caribbean parts of the kingdom are referred to as the "Dutch Caribbean”.

Scouting in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is divided among several organisations. As countries in the Kingdom, Aruba and Curaçao/Sint Maarten, equal to the country of the Netherlands, have their own national organizations. these exist from the time when the Netherlands Antilles was still completely Dutch. As a result, the organizations can be found on several islands and formally even in more than 1 country.

BES Islands

The BES islands, Bonaire, St. Eustatius, Saba, have several different scouting organizations. Only on the island of Bonaire there are groups member of the WOSM and WAGGGS.
