I was a member of troop 169 Bronx, NY from the mid to late 1950's. We spent several weekends at Camp Sanita Hills. The Camp had belonged to the New York City Sanitation Department Union and was donated to the scouts. As I recall the cabins were made from New York City Subway cars. We thought of this area as far removed from our NYC existence. I'm not sure if it was locate in either Patterson or Pawling NY. The area is now a built up suburban community.

Subsequently found out it was Holmes, NY and is not for sale on EBAY.
