Camp Bashor at Otay Lakes County Park is operated by San Diego-Imperial Council and serves scouts from across Southern California.

Overview

The County of San Diego and the Boy Scouts of America, San Diego-Imperial Council, have partnered to develop a new campground to support youth outdoor programs in the Southbay area of San Diego County adjacent to the Otay Lakes Campground.

Camp Bashor will provide a wide camping area with potable water, sanitation systems, activity field, flag and assembly pavilion, hiking trails and an exciting two-line 600ft. zip line through the camp. Major funding is already in place and ground breaking is soon.

This Saturday, (March 7th) the Southbay Speakers bureau is visiting the camp at 2pm and we'd like to welcome all that are interested to attend to view the campground.

No RSVP is needed, so please come take a look and enjoy the fellowship of fellow Scouters.

The camp is located at 2292 Wueste Rd. Chula Vista. When you come through the gate, you will not need to pay the $3 parking fee. Proceed to the parking lot via the Scout Signs.
