About the name
"ARTEST4ECHO" came from a combination of my current location and the Rush song Test for Echo. My first activity used e-mail account was started in 1996 (the release date of Test for Echo) was TESTivECHO@aol.com. I used Roman numerals, since TEST4ECHO was very quickly claimed by another AOL user. When I moved from the Los Angles Area (and was able to leave AOL) to the Little Rock Arkansas Area, ARTEST4ECHO was Born.
I graduated from DeVry University Long Beach in 2001.
Where to find me
I usually stick to WikiProject Latter Day Saint movement items.
What I do for a job off Wikipedia
My very first job, after collage, was for Boeing Satellite Systems working on the the Spaceway program (Spaceway 1 and 2) and Wideband Gapfiller System WGS-1. Later, after a round of Boeing layoffs, I move to a company in Arkansas building aerospace paperwork with attached optical encoders. Anyone who has worked an aerospace project knows what I mean.
I have had my hand in building encoders for a large number of things. Those include, but are not limited to, Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM) (part of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), and replacement parts to the Patriot missile and the Very Large Array (VLA) radio astronomy observatory.
