Why?

Hello all,

Could I possibly ask why a new Main Page is needed? The only problems with the current one is that there are no community to update stuff, and I have other commitments. The new main page actually (in my opinion) looks rather rubbish, as the featured article is a link(?!?!), there are no things like DYKs, and also a selected pciture (which could be copied from ScoutMedia) is not present - a very popular feature on lots of wikis.

I will work up the red links for April, and we will see how it goes.

Oh and i've moved the page to sanxbox because that's what we use to "play" with stuff - a sketch is misleading in English! It could mean something else!
