The Silver Award
This article is on the Girl Scout award.

The Silver Award is the second highest award of the Girl Scouts of the USA. Only Cadette Scouts can earn it.

Requirements

As of 2005, the requirements are:

  • The Girl Scout Silver Leadership Award Charm, which requires three interest projects and 15 hours of leadership experience.
  • The Girl Scout Silver Career Award Charm.
  • The Girl Scout Silver 4Bs Challenge Charm, which consists of setting self-improvement goals and also identifying important community problems and solutions.

Once these initial requirements are completed, the final stage consists of a forty-hour service project that can be done inside or outside of Girl Scouting.
