Jordans Close Scout Activity Centre is run by Bedford District Scouts.[1]

The site, which was donated to the district in 1967 by Dorothy Seward, is in the village of Great Barford, offering 1.25 acres of camping field, with a slipway and landing stage with access to the River Great Ouse.

Facilities Facilities available on site include:

  • camping space for up to 70 campers
  • kitchen (must be booked)
  • main building (only available at weekends)
  • purpose-built and accessible toilet block with hot water and showers

  • adventure course
  • archery
  • caneoing
  • climbing
  • fishing
  • indoor shooting range
  • pioneering
  • rafting
