The County of San Diego and the Boy Scouts of America, San Diego-Imperial Council, have partnered to develop a new campground to support youth outdoor programs in the Southbay area of San Diego County adjacent to the Otay Lakes Campground. | |||
Camp Bashor will provide a wide camping area with potable water, sanitation systems, activity field, flag and assembly pavilion, hiking trails and an exciting two-line 600ft. zip line through the camp. Major funding is already in place and ground breaking is soon. | |||
This Saturday, (March 7th) the Southbay Speakers bureau is visiting the camp at 2pm and we'd like to welcome all that are interested to attend to view the campground. | |||
No RSVP is needed, so please come take a look and enjoy the fellowship of fellow Scouters. | |||
The camp is located at 2292 Wueste Rd. Chula Vista. When you come through the gate, you will not need to pay the $3 parking fee. Proceed to the parking lot via the Scout Signs. | |||
