Portal of the organizations

Nowadays, there is scouting in 155 countries. There is a very large diversity in scouting. Most of the organizations are members of the two world federations founded by Baden-Powell : the World Organization of the Scout Movement and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

In a lot of countries, there is a few number of organizations members of the WOSM, the WAGGGS or the both but in some countries, there are a lot of organizations which are sometimes members of others little international organization.

All the organizations of scouting share the same Scout Law and Scout Promise.

The two most important scout organizations in the world are :

In these two organizations, there are 6 international religious organizations : International Link of Orthodox Scouts, International Catholics Conference of Scouting, International Union of Muslim Scouts, Conference on Christianity in Guiding and Scouting, International Forum of Jewish Scouts, World Buddhist Scout Brotherhood. All these organizations participate at the World Scout Interreligious Forum. There are other smaller organizations :
